Vision

We see a conference that reaches out and generously resources and equips our region. We have a heart that seeks to serve with genuineness and excellence as we partner with others to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ, reaching the lost to see lives changed as we impact the community we live in. We desire to see that each person, regardless of age, status, church and background would have a supernatural experience with God and be released to fulfill the mandate that Jesus Christ has placed upon their lives.

OUR GUESTS

Just recently, he transitioned from his role as a lead pastor to traveling full time ministering the Gospel wherever the journey would take him. He is also a business coach who has a desire to help to build the most sophisticated leader that changes the face of business. Whether it is ministry to the church or in the marketplace, his heart is to see the power of Christ transform people into the best version of themselves.

OUR HOSTS - BEN & LIBBY STAINES

Ben and Libby Staines began pastoring a church in the rural community of Narromine in 2004. As they raised their young family there God began to impress on them a heart and vision for regional and rural Australia and reaching people in both large and small communities. From Narromine a church was planted in Parkes followed by Forbes; and at the same time other churches became a part of the Generocity Church family across NSW. With expressions in over 10 locations Generocity Church has been able to connect with people all over Australia as well as starting a church in Nepal as they also minister to people throughout that nation through medical camps and a children’s welfare centre.

Generocity Church is passionate about people having an authentic relationship with God and with other people – this involves a contemporary approach to church life, discipleship and community engagement. Our hope is to Connect our Community to Christ in such as way that leads every person to become someone of courageous influence for the work of Christ no matter their sphere of influence, interest and responsibility.

Ben and Libby moved to the regional centre of Wagga Wagga in 2016 with their four children Isaac, Bianca, Abbie and Ethan. In 2017 with the help of an amazing local team planted another campus location of Generocity Church which has seen great growth and acceptance in the Riverina region.

Conference Electives

  1. Creative - Ben & Renelle Harrison with Levi McGrath
“Surely that which occupies the total time and energies of Heaven must be a fitting pattern for earth” (Paul E. Billheimer). In this space we are looking forward to continuing the unfolding conversation and journey of worship and creativity within and beyond our Sunday services. Join us as we get ‘hands-on’ and practical around our God-given creativity and the question of whether creativity in the church is destined for more than the platform.
  2. Leadership Lessons - Jason Spears
Jason is a down to earth and fun communicator. He has practical experience leading a church in the USA and now travels as a leadership developer and business coach throughout the world. Come along and glean from his experience, giftings and coaching skills.
  3. Speaking Life Session 1 - Libby Staines
What is it that we are speaking over ourselves? Do we see ourselves the way God sees us or have we allowed the labels that others have given us to speak louder? Take some time to look at what it is to abide in Christ (a correct image of Him) and who He’s called you to be. Speaking Life over ourselves, our personal situations and our relationships. (Speaking Life Sessions are different on both days, but either session could also stand alone)
  4. Missions and Community Engagement - Caleb Dwyer, Matt Rendell, Lauren Williams
How is it that we reach our community and our world? As an everyday mum, a tradie, a teacher, a missionary, or whatever area of influence God has given you…let’s get passionate and courageous about influencing those God has put in our reach.
  1. Creative - Ben & Renelle Harrison with Levi McGrath
Levi McGrath is known for his songwriting which is born out of his passion for grassroots social justice. Join us in this session as we explore some general principles to help guide the songwriting community and give expression to the songs we borrow from Heaven.
  2. Kingdom Business - Jason Spears and Ben Staines
Jason Spears is a down to earth and fun communicator. He has had over 20 years experience leading departments and organisations, including working with not-for-profit and medical organisations. He is now the head business coach for Rhapsody Strategies and travels throughout the world. Ben Staines is an experienced communicator who has a passion for the Kingdom of God as well as business opportunities and coaching. He has had several personal businesses, is a qualified coach, a real estate agent, has studied Marketing and is currently studying a Bachelor of Organisational Leadership.
  3. Speaking Life Session 2 - Libby Staines + Team
What is it that we are speaking over people? Do we speak words of life, do we build courage with our words or tear down? As we have a revelation of who God truly is and who we are in Him, then we can confidently show the love of God to others around us and use the gifts that He has for us through the Holy Spirit to edify and encourage the Church and individuals around us. Speaking God’s life giving words over ourselves, over others, over situations and even our relationships. (Speaking Life Sessions are different on both days, but either session could also stand alone)
  4. Theology Think Tank - Caleb Dwyer, Zech Sargent, David Taylor
Join us for a round table discussion over theology! Why is it so important for us to know the Word of God and have a correct understanding of the context of what we are reading? You don’t have to be a theologian, but begin to take a deeper journey toward understanding what you believe and where to find it in the Bible.
