About Us

Welcome to Generocity Church
Welcome to Generocity Church

From the beach to the bush – Generocity Church has a range of diverse locations across regional and rural Australia. We gather as part of our commitment to become more like Jesus Christ, with a determination to grow in courageous influence.

We are one church with a heart for reaching our communities for Jesus Christ. We’re passionate about seeing lives transformed by the love of God and our hope is for every person to discover their identity in Him.

Our Focus Areas

COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY

NO ONE STANDS ALONE

We believe that life is done best in community, as the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child”. We want to be a community of genuine believers who live as part of our community, in such a way that people will know us by the way we love each other. This is what true community looks like. It may look like sharing a meal at the table with others, or organising meals for someone in need, it may look like committing to praying for each other. This all happens best when we are in relationship, doing community well.

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.”
Acts 2:42 (NLT)

DISCIPLESHIP
DISCIPLESHIP

Engage, Establish, Equip, Empower

Through all seasons and circumstances, we purposely place God at the centre of everything.

And this is not a life to be lived alone – we’re intentional about living a connected life, so that every person might discover their identity in Jesus Christ, grow in Him, and help others to grow. This means that the rhythms of our faith revolve around community, not just a Sunday.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”
John 15.5 (NIV)

MISSION
MISSION

Living A Life On Mission

In our church, everyone is called to the mission field, and this mission field is right where we are standing. This may look different for every believer but we take our cues from Jesus, He shows us the way to living on mission and it looks like caring for the marginilised, helping those in need, bringing the good news of unconditional love and hope and dignity to those who are captive, sick or oppressed.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound”
Isaiah 61:1 (ESV)

Ever wondered how our church works organisationally?

We believe that systems and structures should support and serve the people who use them. That's why we're committed to building and maintaining structures that help our staff and volunteers to work effectively across a diverse range of community contexts, while promoting safety and dignity for all.

With this in mind, we have structures in place to provide accountability and oversight, as well as to guide our operations in the areas of finance, work health and safety, and providing safe places for vulnerable persons.

Caleb Dwyer is the Senior Pastor of Generocity Church.
